China's State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters on Wednesday raised its emergency response for typhoons and flooding to Level III as Typhoon Doksuri is forecast to make landfall in south China on Friday.

台风“杜苏芮”预计28日登陆华南地区，国家防汛抗旱总指挥部（以下简称“国家防总”）26日将防汛防台风应急响应提升至三级。

Four teams have been sent to the provinces of Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, and Jiangxi to assist in local flood and typhoon prevention efforts, according to the headquarters.

4个工作组已赴浙江、福建、广东、江西协助指导防汛防台风工作。

China has a four-tier flood-control emergency response system, with Level I being the most urgent response.

我国防汛应急响应行动分为四级，一级应急响应级别最高。

The typhoon is forecast to travel deep inland and move northward, which could affect provincial regions such as Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Hebei, Tianjin and Beijing, the headquarters said, adding that the country faces a severe situation in coping with the typhoon and flooding.

据国家防总研判，“杜苏芮”将深入内陆并北上，可能影响福建、广东、浙江、江西、安徽、山东、河南、河北、天津、北京等省市，防汛防台风形势严峻、任务艰巨。

All local governments are required to make detailed emergency response plans, strengthen weak links related to geographical disasters, waterlogging and small reservoirs, call back ships from the sea, and evacuate residents from dangerous areas, according to the headquarters.

各地各有关部门要做足做细各项防御措施，全面落实地质灾害、城市内涝、中小水库度汛等薄弱环节防御措施，突出抓好船只回港避风、危险地区群众转移安置等工作。

The design of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic torch was unveiled on Tuesday, marking almost a year until the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.

当地时间7月25日，距离2024年巴黎奥运会开幕倒计时近一周年，巴黎奥运会火炬设计揭晓。

The torch, measuring 70 centimeters, is made with lightweight radiant steel and is distinguished by its champagne color.

巴黎奥运会火炬整体呈香槟金色，以钢为材料，全长70厘米。

The designer of the torch, revealed that he drew inspiration from three Paris 2024 symbols — equality, water, and peacefulness. Equality is symbolized by perfect symmetry. Peacefulness is symbolized by the gentleness of the curves. The lower half features a relief pattern that mimics the movement of the River Seine, along which the opening ceremony will be held.

火炬设计师表示，火炬设计突出了“平等”“和平”和“巴黎”这三个理念。火炬整体对称的设计突出了“平等”的理念，其圆润的线条体现了“和平”的理念，而火炬下部水波纹的设计则代表了此次奥运会举办地巴黎的塞纳河。

Social media and networking service Twitter removed the iconic blue bird logo and adopted "X" as its official logo late Sunday.

社交网络服务平台推特23日晚间撤下标志性的蓝鸟图标，改用“X”作为其官方标志。

Its largest shareholder Elon Musk also changed his profile picture to the new Twitter logo.
